Gigi Hadid signed on to do a ton of shows this fashion month, but we bet the last thing she thought she’d have to do is walk a show missing a shoe.
Gigi Hadid Goes Full Cinderella
But that’s exactly what the supermodel did on the Anna Sui runway, walking the show with just one strappy high-heel sandal.
Mishaps have been known to happen, even during high profile Fashion Week shows, but it says a lot about the professionalism of the models that can quickly recover and remain unfazed.
Gigi did just that, walking the show, and even closing with one shoe. Also in the show was Hadid’s sister Bella Hadid, who she leaned on for support during the last moments of the show.

Steal This Beauty Trend
We’d be remiss if we didn’t mention the fierce eye lewks the godmother of makeup, Pat McGrath, sent the ladies down the runway with. McGrath simply took a stroke of silver glitter down the center of the model’s lids.
This is one of those make-up looks you can’t help but steal, because it’s so easy to replicate. Instead of using glitter glue, McGrath opted for an eye cream. “We used a little bit of Eight Hour Cream and used that to stick the pigment to the eyes.”
Sui’s Front Row
In keeping with Anna Sui’s nods to the past, Shay Mitchell wore Anna Sui Fall 2017 collection, 60’s-style, gold sequin jumpsuit in the front row of the show. “Yesterday’s studio 54 vibes @annasui ✌🏽,” Mitchell wrote via Instagram.
Sui’s show was definitely a hot fashion week ticket as some headed to see the collection straight from the airport!
“Fresh off the plane in NYC and happy to support my lovely friend @AnnaSui at the launch of her #AnnaSui x @incinternationalconcepts collection for @Macys,” said Coca Rocha. “The multi-talented and always gorgeous @misskarenelson is here performing! My #NYFW is starting! #AnnaSuixInc.”
Rocha isn’t the only one in love with Karen Elson. The singer slash model has walked in more of Sui’s shows than any other model. Sui has called Elson inspiring. “She’s a musician, she loves vintage clothes, and looks like she stepped out of a Pre-Raphaelite painting,” said Sui in a Billboard interview.
