The anti-fur demonstrators shouting and protesting outside of the Burberry show, held during London Fashion Week, didn’t stop guests from pouring in to view the latest collection. Showgoers included Jourdan Dunn, Cara Delevingne, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and more.
Burberry Brings Back the Check
The show also marked the return of Burberry’s iconic check pattern. Many have credited the return of the pattern with the upward trend of retro designs especially among millennials.
Fashion is cyclical, so Burberry’s latest collection falls in line with the re-emergence of designer logos and names on underwear waistbands and tees.
Carla Delevigne also attended the show and posed for a pic with two other supermodels, Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss. “Sandwiched between two icons @iamnaomicampbell #katemoss @burberry,” she wrote via Instagram.
Storming the Front Row
Maya Jama, television presenter, radio host, and girlfriend of grime star Stormzy, also graced the Burberry front row alongside her beau. Stormzy is one of London’s most popular grime (arguably period) artists.
